Resource Recovery Process

The Resource Recovery and Waste Conversion Process Developed by Green Power Technologies Addresses the Full Spectrum of Municipal Solid Waste

The material separation process incorporated into a Green Choice Bio-Recovery Facility utilizes proven methods and equipment found in modern Material Recovery Facilities (MRF’s).  A key market differentiator of a Green Choice Bio-recovery Facility is that its resource recovery process does not require incoming waste to be separated prior to delivery, and can accept organic based materials (fiber/paper products, food remains, yard and wood waste).  The resource recovery and waste conversion process developed by Green Power Technologies has three general steps:

  1. Material Separation
  2. Recovery of Recyclables
  3. Conversion of Organic Material

Secondary Markets Exist for all the Value-Based Materials and Commodities Recovered Through our Waste Conversion Process

  • A Green Choice Bio-Recovery Center can process all organic material separated out of the waste stream.
  • Green Power Technologies waste conversion process reduces the original volume of organic material by 65% and produces a clean Biomass that can be used as a biofuel, a “green” substitute for coal (i.e. a form of renewable energy) or other bio-products.
  • After processing, the Biomass and recovered commodities are packaged for shipment, loaded onto a transport trailer or rail car and sent out for delivery.
